Pamela 'Irwin, •13 -year-old
daughter of Mr.. and Mrs; George
Irwin•of Sault Ste, Marie and
' formerly of Belfast and. Lucknow
died on Friday from injuries' •-
received in a freak snowmobile
acciderit at The Sault.
The accident occurred -on --
.Friday ..January 30 . She had
'returned from school and the
snowmobile was idling at the,.
time in front.of her father's
office. In Some manner, her •'•y
scarf;becarre caught iri the
machine. 'The scarf. brokefrom
the pressure .and Pamela .was
thrown to the ground . ' She

. lived for a week following
the accident but never regained
conscipusness She: was in the

hospital. Her death occurred the •
following Friday,- .February 6th.
