weeks, Mrs. Shantz explained
how they were driving on, January
1 when stopped at a° :police road-
block. "We were astounded when

village called Cruz Grande, ".,

Taking, over at the wheel of •

drove Mr. and•Mrs. Shantz back
to•Cruz Grande where they were
taken-tothe home of the dead •

investigation, ,another
officer drove the couple ,to
Acapulco where•Ivir. Shantz was
placed'in jail,: and requested to
• sign 'a confession...

cleared of the charges, these
were returned to Mr. Shantz and
the Huron township couplewasted;
no time getting back -into -the
United States, 15 days. after in •

Cruz Grande , Mexico.
