seven basic embroidery stitches,

of colour and design.;by decorating
articles: with a design of their •
own creation. .'Each• girl kept' .:
a Record Book - and made two •ein,
broidered articles.
In the 'Kincardine -Ripley Area ,
.approximately 130•. members par-
ticipated in the 4-.1-1 Homemaking
Club Achievement Day held on
November 22nd at the Kincar-
dine District High School: All
members participated in a morn,

ing'.prograin of judging a class of
.embroidered 'articles, completing
samples of two stitches -learned . in.

•the:fclub and planning a wall
hanging :from given materials.

clubs presented exhibits, demon-
• strations and skits on numerous
topics related to "Needlecraft" ..
