CONSTRUCTION PROBLEMS
Council reported that the constru-
ction work at the Lucknow Arena
was well behind schedule because
of a shortage of skilled workmen.

ed that the engineer would be On.
'the site'the fallowing day .(Wednes-
day of.last.Week) to 'take a final
inspection of.strengthening of,the
arena building 'before it is opened
for the Fall Fair. •
Discussion centred around the
conftruction of the addition to' the
Lucknow arena. Originally sched-
uled for the east end of the build-
ing, the west end tunw seems tobe
favoured. A suggested figure of An
expenditure of $30,000 on a west
end, addition was,discussed. Opin-
ions expressed at the meeting were
to be passed on the building comm
