friend -of the groom from Elliot
Lake... Following the dinner .the'
guests were entertained -by -the -
bride's parents;in their home and'
laterreturned 'to the Hall for
an enjoyable evening of dancing
with music supplied -by Frook's
orchestra. . . •
For travelling,the bride wore an
orange ice` crepe dress. wfth white

The community was: shocked
last week to hear of the sudden
passing of, Mrs. Ross L .. MacDonald'
of Sudbury. Ross, Lyla and family
spend their summers here at. Clan ,.
Donald, north of .the C. N. R.
station and had just returned. home",
Ion Friday..,- Mrs•. MacDonald .'
suffered a coronary attack on:.:
Monday, followed by twa ni re. on:
Tuesday. Their daughter Jo
was in Paris, France but on being
notified by cable was able to fly
home on Wednesday.
Mrs. MacDonald was the: •former
Lyla. Stewart .of Inglewood, where
the funeral service was held
Thursday afternoon in 'the United
Church. • •

Toronto; who - were at Lucknow at,
the'time and Mr. and Mrs. • Ira •
Dickie attendedthe funeral..
Besides her husband, Mrs.
MacDonald is survived by her
daughter Joan of Toronto, a son
John -and -two -grandsons of
Sudbury. " '
