A recent act of 'vandalism •at the farm. of Harold "Toby" 'Greer,
just eastof the village, has left uswondering justhow the wheels; turn
in the minds ofsome of our localyoung. people„
Harold bas, for. Fa, number ofyears, been working on the. farm,.
• and' improving swimming, f adilities in two farm ponds .Young people
from this area have made use., of his swimming poolsin large num-,
bees--over-the-past few years, -He has.asked_ nothing for . his many
hours of work on the project only the respect and: coo-operationn of
those who usethe facilities and this he has received from the majority
of children and :teenagers:
But . there arealways a few who, have to. deface . and desttroy
everything that comes: before them and disobey;all rules set' out by,
Mr. Greer who is concerned with thesafety of those who use the:

'a considerable amount of vandalism committed while Mr.. Greer and
family were holidaying in western Canada•
