school on May 30.

ald. The. pupils opened the' assem-
bly With. the.morning exercise. -
They:sang and acted out.several
songs. A poem entitled "Over In
The Meadow" was given as a choral
reading selection. A skit called .:
."Mr. Zipps Goes to School" was
performed. Mr. Zipps; who was: a
pet skunk; was taken to school. and
Mary Purdon of Waterloo spent the
week. end with her parents; Mr..
