Nicholls, who is 36 years of age , is a native of Peterborough : arid was raised in Campbellford whe'r'e he received his elementary. and high school education. Following High School, he was employed by the Bank of Montreal. and was at Teeswater' for nine months in 195.2. and 1953. In 1954 he .returned, to schoolto prepare for .the ministry and . received; h'is from -Queen's University in King,- ston . Rev. Nicholls; completed' his theological, training at Queen's Theological College; In 19'60 he• was ordained by the ' Bay of Quinte. Conference of the United Church of Canada and was appointed to his first charge at Plainfield , Ontario: After serving at.
