• Ten' fox• pups were recently. dug,
from. their dens in Ashfield. Town-
ship, and are now caged at the farms
of Donnie Farrish; and Jack Farrish
in Ashfield;
The finding• of ten foxes is 'not°
an unusual piece of news but what
makes this particular story. very .
different is that six of the ten pups
are albinos, with pure'white.fur •
and pink eyes.
The story all started about two:
weeks ago when Donnie Farrish of
Ashfield Was seeding at the Bill
Farrish grass farm on the 12th
known to'many as the Long place
Donnie spotted'a fox at play and'
upon investigating; and with the •
help. of his. children and. Jimmy
Farrish, soil: of Mr.. and. Mrs.. Jack.
Farrish, the gang dug out the den ,
and .found five `white albino fox
pups. and two red ones The mother.
and a few other ,pups escaped.,The
mother was 'a red. fox.
Jim Farrish took home' one red
'one and .One white one' and the six
children,of Donnie :andk.Dorothy
Farrish kept four. white• ones and
one ted. ..,'
The albinos. caused.:considerable
intrest throughout the district }and',
in talking to various' •sources the
Farrish familyfound that they are
