She learned that one of . hers• daughters was• going to: marry .: a'' broken-down' fighter pilot, with a, total income of $60 a month, and no .prospects. Most •:mothers would ..have. -fought like a .. tigress to 'avert, or at: least postpone the marriage. She gave encouragement, though her heart. must have beer] sore, and -it. was then that I fell in love with her. .:My instinct' was right. 'When my wife attacked me, she :at•:. 'tackedmy wife.
