The second alarm of the day
occurred hist after orie• p.m., when
a field on the Eisenhofer property,
'just north of the 'C. N.R. station,
got out of control.
. On Sunday., firelnenwere called
to the Elva Kearney farm at St.
Augustine where a grass fire burned
,off about 25 or 30 acres and threat-
ened"a barn on the property. ,
Monday' afternoon, about 4:30
p.rn, , firemen' again were out
making a' run to the farm.of EIdon
Welsh on the 6th of.kinloss Fire
had burned off an area APO got into
