a patient there, for two months..
Mrs, Bushell was the former
Stella. Ann Montgomery,,, daughter'
of,the .late Wm'.. N. Montgomery
and Mary Ann Brett. 'She was born
near Pine River .on July 7 ,
A year or •two.later her:family'
moved to A farm near Kinloss; •
where they resided,until their' • •
time' of death. She attended
school at Kinloss and laier.at
Kincardine and taught school for
a few .years before her marriage
to John Bushell in 1912. Following
their marriage theyy resided on a
farm on the 14th concession of
Kinloss. • .'
• Mrs. Bushell was predeceased by''
her husband' on:March 14, 1960and
is survived by four sons, Max of
Holyrood Perry of Toronto, . .
Morley' of Wingham, Dorrald,of
'Kinlough;'.two daughters, Mrs.
Herman (Aisla) Fisher of Benmillar,

who gave a very descriptive talk
on the work that the society is
doing. in"trying to collect' and.
preserve information and• materials,
of historic value to Bruce, County,
which are.kept in the Society's'`
Archives. The first Bruce County
.Historical'Society was formed in
1901: and in 1906 aIbook, the
History of Bruce County was pub ' •
lished . , The second Bruce County
Historical Society. was organized:
in 1915.. The society has hired:
Mr. 'Norman: MacLeod of Toronto
and Southampton, to write a •
sequel., to the, 1906 History of
Bruce County. Mr. and Mrs. ? '
Mathers showed slides of the;many
churches in Bruce. County and one
roomed• schools which have been.
sold and are now•being used for
:other purposes. Also many other
historical buildings and sights were
shown:.
