highlight of the regular meeting of
the First Lucknow Guide Company
on December 8th. After roll ca11,'

A knotting game was played, •
followed by Patrol Corners. After
another -relay -game C- mpfire-was
held, led by Land Ranger Beverly
MacDonald,. It was announced' that
next 'week the meeting would start
at 4, p.m., and Mrs: Donald
Thompson would be, coming to
assist the: company in making cor:
sages,.for the residents of Pinecrest
Manor. Joanne Thornpson's patrol
offered to help Santa.; on Saturday..
Captain asked that all Guides. who

Mrs. Frank Hawthorne was a

Three Lucknow 'ladies have suffer-
ed fractures of a serious -nature with
in the past week. ,
Mrs. Garfield MacDonald slipped
in .the vicinity of the Public
School and fell fracturing her
shoulder. Mrs, MacDonald was not
confined to hospital.
Mts. ktta. Roberts fell at her home
in Lucknow on Wednesday of last
week. Mrs. Roberts has a 'fractured
left iidst and badly bruised hand ,
and arm; She is in Wingham
Hospital and it is expected she will'
be there for five or six weeks. '
Mrs, George Jardine slipped on.

Jardine has a fractured left shoulder
