AMBERLEY NEWS...
• A.:record. crowd attended the first
euchrethe season at Amberley
Orange hall on .Tuesday• evening of
last week. There were.players. for:
eighteen tables. Oh a suggestion
No—longer—may—/you—wander—,--Leo-----by-Reg Godfrey that--free-ricket
Nor have.a chance to roam
We've got you under lock, and key.
To make you stay at home::
For you know too, well the story,
How: one September night
You left your controversial stand
And proceeded to take flight:
Nobody really blames you,
"Cause what's a .guy, to do
When some folks say they want him.
And others • say, "Oh Boo"!
I wouldn't payno bother
That's just the way folks -are,
So+ ;, ' ill go .along with; you
others stand afar.
If you feel the urge again
To take a running flight .
Console yourself in 'knowing.
That you give us all' delight
We really don't mind your colour
Or . where you "settle down,
Just keep supplying water
To this good Canadian town! • . , '
