Tragedy again struck this area on
Monday of this week With the..
death of Murray Elliott of the
Ripley-Holyrood district.: Murray,
who would have been•thirteen
years old next week, was found
dead by his two young brothers , in •
their eighth concession barn about.

He, was the,•son of Mr: 'and, Ma,

Elliott. were in Ashfield :on Mon,
day assisting other members of the
family. The children arrived home
from, Ripley, -Huron Central School
where, Murray was in Grade 7 and
the three oldest boys, Murray,
Wayne 11 and Brian 8 had comm-
enced the chores at the barn as was
their habit. Murray had gone to
the loft of the barn to throw' down
some hay, which he did. The two, ;.
younger boys later became concern-
ed as to why Murray hadnot joined,
them and went upstairs and found
their older brother dead. In some
manner, he had become entangled
about the neck with baler twine.
The brothers immediately sought,
