The children arrived home from, Ripley, -Huron Central School where, Murray was in Grade 7 and the three oldest boys, Murray, Wayne 11 and Brian 8 had comm- enced the chores at the barn as was their habit. Murray had gone to the loft of the barn to throw' down some hay, which he did. The two, ;. younger boys later became concern- ed as to why Murray hadnot joined, them and went upstairs and found their older brother dead.
