the Carlow Hall at 4 o'clock.'
For a honeymoon trip to Florida
and other points, the bride chose .
a light blue threepiece suit with,
brown 'accessories and a corsage of
pink roses.
On their return, they will reside

There passed away in Wingham
and District Hospital, on November
20, 1967, John Melvin Greer in; his
87th year. He,•was born in Goderich
Township on November 17 , 1881
and the family moved to West Wa
wanosh; Township in 1883 where he
resided. at Lot'15
, Concession 14
until 1948 when he retired to •Luck -
now.:
He was the and last
surviving member of a family of •
eleven sons and daughters of the,
late George Greer .Sr. and Mary`
Adam's and was a member` of the.
congregation of Lucknow Methodist
Church and subsequently -the United.
Church continuously from the time
the present churchwas opened in
1885'.
For nearly :60 years he was a
member of the choir• and his tenor
voice :was well. known for.itscon-
tribution toanthems and .quartettes;.
In the early thirties he helped or-
ganize a Sunday School orchestra
which led in the se rvice of worship
and with added talent in the i°orm
of a quartette and elocutionist;.
provided entertainment : for many.

The funeral service was on Thurs-
day, November 23rd at Mac Kenzie

Injury In District Farm
Murray Manning, 12 year-old son
of Mr. and; Mrs, John Manning -of,
Blyth, suffered serious injury to his
left arm on Saturday and is now a
patient in Sick Children's Hospital
London.
Murray was visiting for the week-
end at the farm home :of Mr. and
Mrs. John Hildebrand, RA* 2.
Auburn ,;•when the ,accident occurs-
ed..Murray's coat' sleeve became.
