s Fractured Hip

Mrs. A.R. Finlayson of Lucknow
suffered a. fractured left,hip in a'
falhat her home on Tuesday of last
week. Mrs,. Finlayson was alone at
the time.
She manag'ed'.to:pull herself over
to a conch where, sheremained a
..couple of hours .before her, plight
was discovered. "
Her.son, Roy, noticing, her light
-burning later than was ,usual felt
• something was wrong and called at
her home . where he' discovered his
Mother's condition, •
Mrs. Finlayson was taken to Wing
ham Hospital •and'on. to St: Joseph's
Hospital, London and is reported§
to be' getting along well. Some.
eight years ago she suffered a
fracture of her other hip .and was,
hospitalized' for some time:
Mts. Finlayson. observed her 87th
birthday on October•. 5th of this
year,. .
Murray Couse Dies
Suddenly :in Ottawa
.Friends here were saddened to
• learn. of the sudden passing of
George Murray Couse of.Ottawa
On. Sunday, October 22nd . His •
'death occurred while he was curl
'He was: 60 years of age.
Mr. Couse was.manager of the
.Bank of Montreal in Lucknow ,for'
a number of years and, was succ-
eeded by Milton Rayner. He was
transferred from Lucknow` to
sonburg and then to Ottawa
He is survived by his wife; a
daughter Mrs.J.D. (Lyn) Conger .
of Woodstock and a son Paul of
Sudbury'.

Horace Aitchison, 6.9of Edward
Street in Wingham died' Mondajy o f'
last week at Wingham and District
Hospital. He had been ill only a
short time..
Born ion Wingham he was, a soon .of '.
the late Thomas. Aitchison and
Emily Day'. •He was the last •
member of his family having been
predeceased by brothers -Ernest,'.
Clifton and Roy, and a; sister, Mrs.
William Forster.,
He was educated in Lucknow
and it ,was there Mr. Aitchison
• married Jean Douglas in 1918.
They resided in Lucknow for many `.
years.: .
He was employed for 27 years
with Lloyd -Truax Ltd.. formerly
C. Lloyd .and Sons.
:Mr.: Aitchison Was a 'member of•
St, Andrew's',.Presbyterian Church.
Surviving besides his wife .are
two sons,' Aylmer of Kingston. and.
Douglas of ;Wingham; and five
grandchildren
