•Ripley and, district. Continues to
• fall victim to 'fatal accidents. The
'Oornmunity, which has en hard
hit by sorrow and tragedy within
the past number of months, was'
dealt another blow on Thursday
night �f last week when a car -
truck crash proved fatal to Joseph.
Scott, 69, of Ripley. Mt. Scott
- was a passenger .in a car driven by
his son Jack, 39, also of Ripley
who Was severely injured.in the
•accident. . •
The • two men had been at Forest
that day attending a demonstration
of ditching equipment and were
returning home about 8 3d p m
Thursday evening They were •
proteeding'north towards Ripley on
the "fifteenth" when they came
into. collision with .the rear of g.
