ence' of the U.•C.. W. which was
held 'at Guelph this summer was
read by Mrs, Murdie: This report,
prepared by Mrs.' Harvey Houston
who had attended as a, delegate
dealt with the theme •" The`Church
in. bur House" ,,acid gave a' very full'
account of the. conference. • •'.
Mrs. Wilfred Drennan took charge
for the following program. A. read-
ing "Loyalties of Life" by Mrs.
Clarence Greer. Miss Ada' Webster
reviewed a chapter •in. the., Study
Book, . "The Church in the .World" ,
dealing with the Age of
Persecution. A reading "Our Pion-
eers" was ;given by Mrs. W.B. •
Anderson and the hymn "'From
'Ocean ',unto Ocean; Our Land•shall
own. Thee, Lord", was sung.
Mrs,. Ernie'Lewis gave•a very
interesting and amusing account' of
her recent visit to England, Ireland
and; Scotland •
The meeting closed' with the
,benediction and an exchange of
slip's and bulbs concluded the gath
ering.
