Hunter examination centres w111
operate in Ontario for the first time
this fall. �. .
Legislation requires all prospective
hunters' who can not produce either
an old licence :or a certificate of
competence issued by.a hunter •
safety instructor to successfully
,complete written and practical
examinations before Qualifying for
.a 'licence. . .
The courses, will be conducted' by
conservation' officers and . fee for
theexaminationwill be $3.
• Candidates will'be,tested, in •
groups at pre -arranged times and
places. Application for a'hunting
'licence examination can be'obtain
ed from your nearest conservation
officer.. It should • be .completed
and sent to the:. Departinent of
Lands and Forest either at Aylmer
or Hespeler. Examination centres
. will be scheduled according to
• demand.,

number. The topic on "British
Columbia" ,.was well given by Miss
Sadie Johnston. Interesting .inform-
ation was given on the climate '
which is. a tourist attraction of the
province, .its power resources, in=
dustries,; and the construction of
three large storage dams. The
beautiful scenery of British Colum-
bia is also' a tourist, attraction..

sented with a Life membership
certificate' and pin from the Reids
Corners Women's'.Institute. Mrs;
Cecil. Holland gave a 'short address,

Nadkarny's pleasing personality
and her command of the English
language has won. many friends; for
her in Canada. She leaves shortly
for India where her children are
living with grandparents. Miss

thanked the members for the gift.'
