ground passageways, where the
early •Christians hid and 'worshipp-
ed , the Dome of Se. 'Peter's
Church, which is the centre of•the
Vatican, the• city within .a city;
the'colosseurn,' whereGladiators ,
fought with wild beasts and where
early' Christians were put to death.
