Alexander Martin MacLeod 'of
Lucknow passed away in Wingham
and district hospital on. Wednesday
June. 7th after, suffering, a heavy
stroke -Monday everting.. He: was in
his 83rd. year. ' '
G' Mr, MacLeod was'born on June
'1,30, 1884, on the 5th concession. .of
Kinloss, the son, Of James, MacLeod
and Christine MacInnes:
He left Kinloss at the age of
sixteen and lived inTAlberta., Fort
William', Chicago, Montana and
Indiana. He learned the plumbing
trade in Chicago. ' .
In 1912. he married. Helen Steven
son of Terrey Haute, Indiana.' They
came to London, 'Ontario in 1930:
where heworked at plumbing un-
til retiring about seven years ago.
Mr; and vlrs.: MacLeod celebrat-
ed their ,Golden Wedding an riiver-
sary in February 1962, Mrs.. Mac-.
Leod passed away in April 1964.
After the death of his wife, he
came•to.Lucknow where he has
lived ever since.
He•is, survived by a son James A ' rr
