teen years:•Laura contracted polio,
which left her partially: paralyzed
After finishing public school, she'
attended St. • Margaret's .Presbyter-
ian College.in Toronto.• She was:

her parents moved to Lucknow
where they resided on Rose Street
in. the home: now owned by lyMr;

Following her parents' death,.
Miss Archer,continued on alone."
She could get around by the use,of
crutches and cared for, herself un-
til three years ago , -when during
an illness, she wa's;adrr,itred to. ,
Winghand District Hospital. In
