A'group of volunteers from the'
Lucknow Centennial Committee
gave Lucknow. main street a fine
itew look on• Wednesday'nigl tof •`
last week as Centennial, Canadian
and Ontario flags were, erected
.along both :sides of Campbell
Street. The erection of the flags
gives the Main street'a "centennial
look and is the first in a series of'
plans by the committee. to give
Lucknow 'some centennial "sparkle';
:Flags -have also been. ordered for
house decorating and a campaign
of the village will be: organized by

.the Boy Scouts and Cubs.'.'

`Fractured Pelvis
As Horse Crushes
Lochalsh Man
Duncan Farrish of Lochalsh,is in.'.
Kincardine :Hospital witha fractur-
ed pelvis as a result of an accident
at his Highway 86 • farm on
Wednesday of hist week.
The Farrish; family were. moving •
cattle to their other farm,; the
former Eldon' MacLennan place,
about half a mile to the west. Dun-
can was riding a horse in moving
the ,cattle when the horse reared up
and fell down, taking Duncan with
it and rolling on him. The ,acci '
denthappened in the Farrish barn-
yard.
Mrs. Farrish was assisted by Doug
Martyn and MrsL Florence MacKen-
•zie following the accident. He was
.taken to Dr. J.B. Tindall in Ripley
and then on to Kincardine Hospital
where the fractured pelvis was det-
.
ermined
It is expected Duncan will be
bedfast for/a/month to six weeks.•
