Reeve Joynt. suggested' that the
youth group consider some mean
ingful way to advertise the village.
and the part it could play in the
next 100 years . , • .
Various subjects: were suggested,
by, those in attendance as possible
centennial projects but the one
that thhe'young people•.kept. cqm
ing •bacy to was the construction of
a .sw,imriming;pool in Lucknow:. '
Reeve. Joynt was ,questioned 'by: the.
group as to why earlier discussion.
on a swirnming pool had not 'dev-
eloped. Mr-,. Joynt said that the '
Lucknow Legion had discussed the
building 'of.a Swimming pool. He
said, tlia t he had secured complete
costs on.the projectfor,the Legion;
arranged for sketches and, ggvern
ment grants; but had not.heard,
any more on :their" plans.
