He" thinks Lucknow is a typical, inservatiVe town and feels•the students' are typical of a rural area He.says they appear.more realistic than city students. As for the large school vs the smaller one be feels that, there are many advantages both waysbut for the best education scholastically,' the larger school wins out.' .If students need any guidance or aid in plans of the future they seek out, Mr. Hall. He is always ready :to be of help. The Career Day which is coming•up is one of Mr. Hall's projects to give the students. a •better. outline of careers. • Reception For Newlyweds WHITECHURCH NEWS (Intended` for Last ;Week). Relatives from here attended the. Reception held •in Whitechurch Community Memorial Hall on Sat:-. urday night for Mr. and Mrs. Char les Holmes (nee Phyllis Barbour) of St. Helens. • Music for dancing was supplied by San -an -tons orchestra. of London At the close of the dance a salad' buffet supper was served to around: 60 guests. After the supper the many gifts, mentioning a few of the larger ones, blankets, bed- spreads, -rugs, electric tea kettle and a sum of money were present- ed. Mrs. Allan Barbour assisted ~the bride in opening the gifts. Mr; and Ms. Holmes both thank- ed their friends and relatives for remembering them in this way.
