(Eppie), Carrick, widow of the late
Robert Carrick , occurred at. Huron=

following along illness. She, was. a
,former resident of Goderich . •
Mrs. Carrick was .a daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony '
Haggitt and was born June 4, 1883 .
near Blyth, Ont. Following.her
marriage to Mr..:Carrick five '
da$ighters,;and three sot's were born,
'of whom only, one, .Mrs. Arthur
(Vietta) George of Goderich, sur
vives,. Mrs, Carrick for many years
attended .Victoria St, United . ,.
Church In Goderich. She •is.also,
-survived by•Jannes Haggett of.
Clandeboye, a brother and Mrs.
Charles (Lula) Soule of•Troy
Michigan; a sister: There are •
eight grandchildren. •

March 9 from the Floyd M. Lodge

Hawaii. She was dressed in a Mail-

nor mosquitoes and' flowers are
everywhere. Banana, Cocoanut,
Sausage and citrus trees grow and
there are numerous beefsteak
hedges. Sugar cane takes 18
months to mature before it can be
processed and.taken to the mill.
New Years was celebrated all day:
with a fire cracker display. Ind
stead Of sand beaches they are all
black lava, so look like cinders.

16 members and seven visitors' with
an Irish joke. Community Singing
