suddenly on Thursday; March. 2nd
following a heart .attack; He=was,
in his -67th, year: Mr. Helm was:
assisting a neighbour, remove her
car from the: snow when stricken.
He was' born, in. Ashfield Town-
ship on November 5th, 1900, a son
Of Albert Helrn and Agnes Drennan.
On September ist , 1934 he marr-
ied: Ruth Evans of Clinton,
Mr:' and Mrs Helm- lived on the'
home farm •, which' is a centennial.
farm being in the Helm Family for
over one hundred' years..
Besides•his wife he is survived by
two daughters and. two sons, Mrs. ,
Eunice Dunsmuir and, Mrs Wayne.
(Carol) Atkinson,, .both-of.Lucknow,
'John of Kitchener; Evans 'of Whitby
and five grandchildren.,
Hp was predeceased by,his
parents and a sister ,Mrs. Edgar
Ritchie of Ashfield Township.
Mr. Helm was.,secretary of Zion
school board :for a nyinber of years
and assessor of ,Ashfield Township
at the time they started the equal -7.
