meeting with the Call, to..Worship .
:and prayer.: Following the open
ing hymn, Mrs Frank Hawthorne
read the Scripture and gave the
• meditation entitled"Behold He
Prayeth" . Mrs Robert MacKen-
zie reviewed the February. Glad
Tidings dealing with the Synod
of the Atlantic Provinces and the
eastern division of,the 'W. M..S. ,.
also a description of some of the
• fine old, churches in that district
of Canada, :

• The President, Mrs,' Noble John-
ston, was chosen to represent the
Auxiliary :on the Church Commi.
ttee to plan a special Centennial
Sunday service. Members were •
reminded of the Easter. Thank- •

Speakers. Suggestions for .a cent

ing. on Tuesday of last week.
There was an attendance of 16

Book. A Centennial snap: of Can-
ada was used' to indicate>historical
parts of the Dominion; The floial
emblerns and photos of•'the Prime
Ministers up to the present time
were also shown, -'Missionaries
came to Canada -and worked under'
,great difficulties due' to lack, of
funds;,After the closing. hymn and,
benediction,`lunch'•was served.by;
Mts.. Murdock. McDonald, and Mrs;
Norval Nesbitt.

February 21st with 34 in attend,

new president, opened. the meet-
ing with a Lenten thought. They

ident extended a welcome to all

committees gave their reports 'with
Mrs, Jas, Arnold, Citizenship and
Social 'Action, reading a 'letter re-
ceived from rnernbers of the Unit-
ed Church at Cape Croker, thank-
ing'our members for the interest
shown them and• also telling of
their various activities. Mrs. Wil-
fred Drennan., Community Friend-
ship and Visiting, reported arrarig-
ing for each Unit to; visit and pros
vide a program: On special days for
the patients at Pinecrest Manor
with Unit 5 having provided the
Valentine program.

Mrs R.. Finlay, Mrs.. Dunsmuir;
then favoured with 'another solo
and Mrs, Hall thanked. all who
contributed to the service. A
