In 1914 Mr. 'Lewis enlisted with the Suffolk Regiment. The same year he was wounded and sent back to England.. He joined the Reserve -army -in -Southend -On Sea= directly after the first war. In 192S. while, in Brampton, Mr. Lewis joined Larne Scotts • Reserve and later"served in the . 99th battery reserve in Wingham during the : Second World War. He was a .mem, • ber+of the Great.
