of Ashfield, driven by a young
rnan named Bowler, got off the
roadway at T.H,Treleaven's
mill and the horses fell into the
mill race. One horse vias 'saved
but the other- was dead when assis-
tance Was secured. '

lent job in teaching their children
the art of safe living. '
We•feel that the Elmer Contest
prays an important part in keeping
children: reminded of traffic haz-
ards during their slimmer vacation 1
