suffered a heart attack at his home

erborough. Prior to that he was ,
in the shoe business in Lucknoww=
and for a time worked for Clint,
Smith in the shoe 'business in Pet-

three years ago. He ' had .retired
• only nn the first of September
when the business was sold' to'

Mr, MacDonaldwas an accompli

' Born in Kinloss township, he att-
ended school there and in.:Lucknow

his wife, the former Letitia Fox ,
to •whorn..he was married at Blyth
in 1955. . He isalsq survived by a
son by a pievious marriage, Ross
MacDonald, of Ottawa , : by two
grandchildren, Janet and Peter, •
and bya ester. ,Cate, Mrs. C.E. .
