got off to a. prornpt 1.p.m. start
and featured many floats and '
entries, as well as school children,,
ponies, horses, decorated cars
and tricycles and of course much
music,. Kitchener, -Waterloo Fly-
ing Dutchman drum and bugle
band led the parade and made a
second trip down town at the end
of the parade The crowd which
lined thestreet on a beautiful
warm, Fall.' day also heard the.
Bruce -County junior Pipe, Band,
the Lucknow District. High •School
Brass Band and the Belfast Flute
Band No music lover could want
for :more variety, than :that , '
Eight high school girls .from
various schools in the district,
all enr es in the beauty contest,'
rode in 'open convertibles and
.followed Miss Dominion of Can-`
ada who also rode. in an open
.car in: the lead. Various civic
and other dignitaries`' also rode , in. a
the parade.
