ence were read by the Secretary
Mrs Russel Ross and the •Roll call
was given.. Mrs. Bill Rintoul con-
ducted. the business and welcomed
•all the girls and boys •
The. eeting' was then turned
over. tmo Mrs. Hugh Simpson, call
to Worship Was given ,and the.
C.0:C. hymn. was sung by the •
'children. The scriptpre was, read
by Ruth Elliott Mrs. Earl Caslick
led in prayer. The roll was called,

sun -burns, This is the time of
year that our .highways lead to ' .

In 1965 in the .months of July, •
August and Septerber, 'we'had
a total' of 32,149 accidents -' 362
,persons, killed and • 11, 542; received
personal injury on our highways.
There are many causes for these •
accidents, one 'being the .impat-.
•dent driver. I•thinkyou will all
agree that when we ,get hot:, we
are More apt to also get hot under`
the collar and do some foolish
thing, especially when we are •
driving.
Think back (if you drive) when
the tenperat'ure was- 80, degrees
on the highway, can you;
remember the numerous times
'the children wanted to know when
were they going to get there and
..how much •farther is,it Or I think

when, the wife -sees a lovely spot .

stop, when you thought there

A delicious smorgasbord supper
was enjoyed by all» Ewan Mac-
Lean, the president.,' was chair- '
man for the program and business
meeting which followed. The
family ode was sung and everyone
jointed in 'Community singing
conducted by Mrs. Bertha Mac-
Kenzie with ‘ Mrs . Isabel Martyr'.
