Sunday afternoon On the farm bf
GordonElliott in the Amberley
area,
The farm is located on the Base,
line between the 2rid and 4th
concession of Huron Township:
Winter barley was being harvested
by Mr. penich with...a large corn -
bine. In some manner unknown
to anytine; Mike fell intothe
.mechanitm An4, was found in this
condition by Jim Laundryof the
Kincardine area who had gone to
the farm..

Help was summoned from Kin-
cardine Hospital, An ambulance
arrived with Dr. Tindall of
Ripley coming to the scene.
The injured man was immed-;
lately taken to Kincardine /lc:V-
ital, 'treated, and on, to Owen
Sound where his condition is ser
. • .
Word received by Pr Tindafl,
from Owen Sounsl Hospital on Mon
day gave Mr. Penh's injuries.

on 'Monday , July 18th and remain-
ed with the Murray family until
Sunday, •July 24th when she return-
ed home. •
Irene comes from Norris Point, a
smallllshlng vilflage on the weft -
ern coast of Newfoundland., She '
is the 5th youngest in the family
and has six brothers and six sisters..
She is active in 4-H work with .
special emphasis on food, cloth-

ing and cooking. She has one year
in junior leadership training.

Stores for 6 1/2 years prior to
joining the police force, He was

western Ontario when he left the

the Government of the Province of
Ontario have agreed -to carry out a .
Fallout Protection Survey of all .
major buildings .within the Province
Direction of the survey is the respon
sibility of the Department of Public
Works (Canada). The survey started
May 15, 1966, and is planned for
completion in 1967
At present it is not the..intention
of the Government to designate
surveyed space as shelter nor to
improve existing space to shelter
standards, but to update. infoirnat-
ion obtained during previous sury
eys and incorporate itinto the.
national survey.
