Plans Progress For Fali Fair.. r— • FAIR NATES • (Contributed) The regular monthly meeting of the Lucknow Agricultural Society was held on Thursday evening and plans are taking shape for the Fair to be held on Sept, 16 and 17. With Miss Dom- inion of Canada coining to. our fair, we feel we are greatly hon- oured and the parade committee is planning as big 'a.parade•as:' East year. You too can help by telling Charlie Webster you are. ' entering in the festivities. ' Three bands are to be in attend- ance, ttend-ance, among them, the Bruce• County •,Junior . Kiltie Band, who are already making plans to play..' :at the Worlds Fair =in Montreal • next year.Lucknow. Fair: Board.. feel ,fortunate in having this .band play at their fair. A bigger and • better Midway has been'•booked along with: all other attractions that make for the fair. , School work has been •received• and judging is taking place.
