wer to Ontario's ambulance prob-
lems.

made up of civil servants in the'
Dept,. of Health, will have some
recommendations ready within
about 3 months.
The recommendations would
be.the basis of'legikslation for
the 1;67 session' of the Legisia

This was announced by the
Minister of.Health on introducing
a Bill as 'an interim measure
that will establish provincial..
licensing of ambulance .operat-
ors. The Bill authorizes the
government to pay up. to half.
the cost of subsidies to ambul
ante operators now paid by mun
'icipalities, local boards of
health, public' hospitals or non-
profit organizations. • •
,The task force will study
financing, organization.of ser-
vices, the number of ambulances'
needed and the locations in which
they were'needed. ,
