•On Friday, May 27, the final
assembly of the school term was
held. The program -began with
0 Canada" and our "L, D. H, S,
School Song". Mr.' Gibson pres- '
ented Activity Crests to those stud-
ents who had participated 'in four
, =or more activities -during the year.
•�Sharyn Mowbray gave a; report on
T `',the .Year Book,. She said that they
mould be available in the fall.
-n Mr;' Hall,presented the Activity,
Bars to the members of the L. D, H.
S. Iland•, . and also the Hi -Tones.
The bars were presented to the
.year book staff by Mrs. MacKenzie
Mr. Dennis presented all the bars
to those who participated 111 the •
sports events, These events includ
J6nior and Senior Basketball, . -
Volleyball; Badminton, Track, and
Field, and also to the 1965.-66
Cheerleaders.
The Hip -Tones had a surprise for
the teachers, and the students cer•=
tainly enjoyed their song. A group
of girls from grades elevenand
twelve did a "Modern Dance".
Mr. kelterborn presented actio-
Iity bars to those students who had
taken part in the ping pong tourn-
t
ament; and also the Hobby Club.
Mr.. MacDougall presented the:
Fcience Club with their bars, and
Mr. Goyette prelented the bars to
those who had taken part in the
Public' Speaking Competition, and
also those people who had acted as,
Librarians for the term. Mr.:Gib�,.
son: •made the ,presentations to the
members of the 1965-66 Student.'
Council., The Head Boy, David •
Thompson;; and the Head Girl,
Phyllis.Bradley,, expressed their
appreciation for.•all the help and
encouragernent they had received
from the students and staff during.
the year. - • -
Special presentations were"made
by the Student Council to those
teachers who are leaving Lucknow.

students of L. D': H. S as a body.
He wished them all good things
in their future endeavours. The
assembly was closed with "The
