' The recent talk and Correspond-

has undoubtedly caused much con-
fusion of thought for you andt°prob-'

tremendous advertisin cavi ai n

Plan, has caused most residents of
Ontariolo take a closer:look at
their Own medical coverage:.
Private Medical insurance supp-,.
tiers have been burdened',with calls
and letters by "policy -holders who
"want to know what they are cov- •
ered for." At least one large Ont'

ario company 'has announced' that
it will discontinueproviding med
ical'insurance as of July 1, 1966, •
and has advised its policy holders
to seek coverage elsewhere:.;
Through advertising
hrou h advertisingimmicks
and false gossip many persons have
been led to believe that, starting
July 1, .1 66 ,. the Government will
have full control over Ontario's
medical .insurance.,_ and coverage
will be available only through
OVISIP. This is definitely not,true
as Huron County's, own Huron'.Co-
operative• Medical Services will.

When buying 'medical insurance,
one should keep in mind that it is
the coverage, not the price, that
really makes the difference. It
is a,safe guess that`alnost all Com
prehensive 'medical insurance
plans cover doctor's home and off
ice calls, surgical opelrations, an
aesthetics, and probably matern-

care. But what most people
don't •realize is that by "cover,.
some companies ,(including OM- t

GREETINGS TO THE 'THQMPSON.S
I am sorry that 1 have notwritt-
en sooner to tell you of my change
of address.
I am teaching at Centennial Sec.
ondary School: in Mattru and ex-
pect to be teaching here for ;three.
years. I am enjoying my work in
teaching Mathematics here very
much. Although: the students are.
quite weak in this subject, . most.
.of them are trying very hard to
understand the work..
I left my home on August 9th,
.so I have been over; here now' .for.
6,months . I arrived here during
the rainy season, which lasts .from.
June > o December. Just• now we
are,in the„hot, dry season. 1 know.
now
what tropical rainstorms' are,
rains that last for hours or even
• days, One wonders where all the
water disappears.
The Sierra Leonean countryside
is very beautiful with many hilts,
sparkling rivers and beautiful. tall
trees, and many' graceful palm:
trees. The Centennial 'School.
compound is also attractively
landscaped with many :fruit trees
such as, grapefruit;, :lemon, Orange
guava, papiah,•coconut, as well
as banana and •pineapple plants.
The buildings, are simply Construct

are approximately. 280 Students
in the school. Over half of the
students . are boarders: and live : in
one of the four dormitories on the
compound.. The school has 5
grades or forms; 'which 'compare
favourably to the five grades in.
the Ontario system, More
mathematics is taught here..in the
five years than is taught' in the 5.'
grades in Ontario. I would say the
other subjects are about equal•. with
,the Ontario curriculum.
I have three sets of papers to:
mark, so I'd better get at thein..I hope you will greet My friends'
for me and tell them that 'I am
