The April meeting of the Lad-
les Auxiliary to the Canadian Leg-
ion was held in the form of a
Birthday Supper to celebrate the
anniVersary of instituting the Aux-
ilLary. The Birthday Cake was,
cut by 'the -President ,,Mrs; James
•McNaughton. ••
Special guest for the evening
was Mrs. Howard Carroll of Godr
erich who is the Zone Command-
er for Zone C-1. She brought a
very interesting address to the
meeting and answered questions •
'from the members. She congrat-
ulated the Lucknow Branch for •
being the very first in the Zone
to have completed their ncentenn-
ial Project as.many branches
have not yet started. The Zone
Rally is to be held on May 25th /
in Seaforth and the. Provincial,
Command Convention held every •
second year will be in Windsor ,
in September. Mrs. MacNaughton
and Mrs. barrThornson were
nominated to go as our represent -4
atives. •
Reports 'of sick committee were
given by Mrs. Ron Forster. She
also gave Report ori Sports Comm-,
the prize for having a birthday
closest to the night of the birthday,
/supper. A prize was also won by
Mrs. Jim Gardiner for having a
wedding anniversary closest to ,
the same day.
