Mr. and Mrs, Don Robertson. ,The
Mrs. R, B. Quance passed away
at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow , on,
Thursday, 'April Toth.
• Mrs. Quance was the former
Ida Priscilla Henderson, of Luck -
now .
uck-•now. She. was 85 years of age:'
She was born on January: 29th,
1881, in Kinloss Township, a
daughter of John Wesley Henderson.
and Sarah Jane Irwin. •
On June 21st, 1904.,, she'm,arried
James Stanley of Kinloss. Mr,
Stanley died in May 1927, She
later married R. B. Quance, a' .
native' of Exeter. He passed` away
.on; June 15, 1965

Mrs. Quance has had a
lengthy illness.' She entered Wing-
ham Hospital three years ago
this. August for treatment, and
while there, suffered a stroke..
She recovered ,enough to leave
hospital and for six months was
with her daughter, Mrs..'Clarence
Irwin. 'She had another slight
stroke and had to return to Wing •
ham Hospital for:a.month and
then to Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow,
where Mrs. Quance has been for
•:the past year and a hail.
• Mrs. Quance is survived by two
daughter's, .Mrs. • Clarence (Elleda)
• Irwin of Kinloss Township., Mrs.
deorge (Edythe) Dunseath of
Weston, three .sons,' Eldon Stanley
of Grand Bend, Burton Stanley of
'Dayton, Ohio, Orville Stanley of
pitman, one brother, Eldon Hend-
. ersonof `Lucknow: ' •
She was predeceased by one
sister, Mrs.'Mary Jane Webster,
. wad two. brothers, John and .Wells-
ington, all of Lucknow.
Funeral service was held from
the•Johnstone and Son Funeral
Home, Lucknow, on Saturday
April 16th, with burial at Green-
hill. Cemetery.: .Rev.,Howard
Snapp had•charge of the service.
Pallbearers were Ross and
Muiray Henderson, Lloyd Hender

DUNCAN BROWN `HARPER
Duncan Brown Harper passed
away in Wingham and District
Hospital on Tuesday-: April 5th,
after developing pneumonia. He
was in his 78th year.
Brown,as he was familiarly
known, was born in West Wawa-
nosh Township on October 24th;
1888 r a son of. Archie Harper • and:
Mary Graham. He farmed all his.
life on the' Harper farm which was.
situtated a few miles west: of St.
'Helens, between the ninth :and:
tenth concessions,, 'until retiring a

el, Lucknow, on Friday, April
8th, with' Rev. Rod McLeod in

Interment was at Greenhill
