DAVID Mrs, David Milne,a i,ucknow resident for many years, passed • away in her sleep. at her home on Wednesday, , April .6th, She had been in her usual ,health upon re- tiring the night before, Mrs. Milne, who was inter 84th, year, wasthe former Janet Catherine Purves, She was born in Kinloss' Township on November 8th, 1882, a daughter of Robert Purves and Janet Steele. For the past severs years ',he served as Planning Administrat - or for the Town of Midland and has been fully responsible for all phas- es of Planning,, as well as conduct ing many of the surveys' which re suited in an Official Plan for the town. *He wasalso responsible for Many subsequent studies, including the preparation of a Comprehensiv Zoning by-law and related. Plannin� 'Controls. • In addition to his ,duties as Plan ning Administrator, he served as Zoning. Administrator :and Secret- ary -Treasurer of the Planning Board and Committee of Adjust- ment.
