village, when the couple were

Tuesday, .April 5th, the, anniv
ersary of their marriage fifty years
ago.
Mrs, Fisher is the former Alice
Huston, daughter of Mr and Mrs,•,.
David Huston.`Mr. Fisher'is the
'son of Mr, and Mrs. James Fisher •
who resided where Ford Cunning
ham .lives, at the second of. Kin-
loss, when
in-loss,.:when Bob. wasmarried in
1916..

Mr. and Mrs. Fisher' have a
daughter Mrs. George (Mary)
Newbold .of Lucknow, who with

• Minor. Nursing Home.. . The Fish-
ers have three grandchildren •
The. couple were married at the
home of the bride's parents which
was on; Hamilton St East;: next
to the•milt•pond.
• Bob was a• private in:thearmy
at the time of his marriage and
in October. of 1916, he'wertt
overseas. Mrs. Fisher resided with
her parents while Bob was over-
seas, and upon his return in .May
of 1919 ,' they purchased the Huston
:homeand continued to live there
,for:over twenty years.

In 1941; Mr. and Mrs; Fisher.
*Went 'to Hamilton to reside and.
for twenty .years; Bob was .employ-
ed as a •carpenter with Piggott
Construction Co.
I. 1962 the couple •returned to
Lucknow and their new home was
built, on Hayes Street..:
