Dear Sirs: Confederation Train: I have received' word from the ` Centennial Commission on. their •National Program' Progress Report as . to where the tractor -trailer• car- avanwill be stopping around Apr- on County and on what,days. • These various towns may wish . to work in some, program of their . own in conjunction with the cara- van 'stops.. The Confederation' , Train will• be in London on June. 8th to the 15th, 1967, and will,.elso stop in Kitchener from June 24th to •the.29th.. 'That: is as close as the Confederation' Train will get to Huron County. However, the tractor -trailer caravan will be in , the following' towns:' Wingham•, June 10th; Goderich, June 11th; ,r Seaforth, June •lath; Stratford;' ;June 14th -18th; St. Marys, Oct- ober '8th4; Exeter, October 10th.` .' The March, .meeting of the Lucknow Women's Institute was held in the Institute rooms with Mrs. George Whitby in charge., The roll call was-answered.by "name a vegetable and give its vita, content". The date of.the pot luck supper has been changed to April 7th. at 2,30 p.m. Plans were made for two more parties, which will be• held..on March 14th and. - March .30th. nd- March.30th. Emerson was chairman . for.the program and read a, short Irish story. Mrs. Ross Cumming played an enjoyable piano solo, Miss Ruth Thompson gave a .won- derful talk on the motto "'Good, ,health' and good food are. two" of , life's greatest blessings", which ' was also the theme of the -meeting. She took' each letter of the two • Words, "Health". and' -"Food" and told what they stood for in out; health and eating habits: 'Mrs. G. Patrol.; READY FOR TOMORROW .Mr. and 'Mrs. William Brown of Lucknow observed their 47th wedding anniversary on Saturday,. March 12th. They .came to Luck- now seventeen years ago this spring from the Langside district,; where they operatedthe general store for 22 years. . Following their marriage. in 1919; Mr. and Mrs. Brown farmed in•the Arnberley district, later taking over the store at Langside. Theyhave a family of two d'au ghters,. Mrs. Clark (Ardyss) John- ston of Belgrave, and Mrs. Char- les (Gertrude) Tiffin of Langside, and two. granddaughters. Mrs. Brown is'tiie: former Ethel Bell of:Lurgan. Her only'.: brother, • Lloyd, Bell, passed away a,few years ago. 'Mr. Brown has a sister, Mrs. Hugh Ferguson, of.
