Ladies ,fora well organized supper,
•and 'introduced RRev. • Father Caru
anna of Kingsbridge who presided,
for the evening; Other .guests who:
were. 'welcomed were Rev. Father-
Sant': and Br, T. Aquillina also of
Kingsbridge., ` f . '
After thetables werecleared,
the Business Meeting got underway,.
The.Financia'l.Statement was read
and discussed .
• ,Messrs Wm. Schmid, Donald
MacKinnon;, and Grant Chisholm
were appointed to look after the
Cemetery `Project for the Lucknow
parishioners. Nomination Forms
were handed 'out to the C. W. L.
members for -the annual election.
Mrs. J. MacMillan, Mrs: Wm.
Hogan and Mrs. Grant Chisholm
were the three members named
• for the election committee.Mess-
rs. James O'Donnell and drant
Chisholm were chosen as represent-
atives on the Synodal Commission
for Social Life;. Mrs.: J.`MacMillan
and Mrs. Peter MacDonald for
Christian Education.'

Sunday Service were Messrs.: Jate

Henry. Carter of Clinton,. an
employee of the: Canadian:.Nauono
al Railways for 46 years, retired
last :week from Service with the
CN. ,
Henry and his wife, *the former
'Leda Durnin, are both natives of
this 'area and Henry's first twenty
years with the railway 'were spent
..in Lucknow. He started . with the
express division in Lucknow m
1920 at the : age of 19 At that •
time, the late Elizabeth Hender-

handled, the delivery. When he':,
left: Lucknow :in 1940, Miss, Hend-
erson was still acting as .agent.' r-
