Extensive damage was done in
a two -vehicle collision<last Wed-
nesday evening at the northern
outskirts•of the'village..

According to the village police,
officer Joe Vienneau, who invest-
igated the accident, 78 -year-old
Dave Scott of Lucknow was back-
ing his 1963 gambler east onto
the roadway at the northern out
skirts.of the village on Stauffer
Street when he was in collision`'
with a 1963 Chev.:pickuptruck
driven by. Harvey Irwin of Highway`
-86-west~ and proceeding south. •
Harvey was accompanied by ..his
young. son': •- No One was seriously
injured In the crash and none of.
the 'occupants were admitted to
hospital: •
The Scott car was a complete
wreck while about $600 damage '
was done to the Irwin truck. The
accident occurred' shortly after.

A'disgraceful act of vandalism
was performed early last Friday
morning with the village's
police carbeing the target,. •
The windshield was cracked, an
inside mirror broken and wiring...
of the vehicle was pulled off.
The car was parked in front
of the home of the village police
officer Joe Vienne au when the
vandalism. happened and ft was
sometime/after midnight:. Thursday
when Joe went off duty.
