It was the barn onthe property of Mr. and•Mrs. J. Charpentier who reside in the dwelling at the former Mo' Lean store. Coming .to the village at an'early age, we can well rem ember: when this, barn housed they orses of the storekeepers who made regular trips, to. the Lucknow station or Express office in winter and summer for all of the -'store supplies; We especially remember the ate W, J, McLean and his faith- ful horss, aithfulhors,,, Dan; A light wagon or sleigh was used to carry these supplies.
