Wilmot and the Road 'Superintend;
ent went out during" the afternoon
to inspect several culverts and
sections.of.road in the Township
whichwill need re -construction,
in the near future, On 'their .return
Mr. Wilmot gave to Council his .
recommendations. he stated that
the Department does not want a
number ,of small road construction .
jobs done, and that the proper. •
procedure is to construct no less
than one block, at a time. He
.also recommended that the replac-
ement of culverts and reconstruct
ion of road be done at the same
tithe. He said to withhold con-
struction on certain of the roads
around' St.: Helens (for ,one instance
until the culverts can be replaced.
Mr. Wiltnot said in'closing•that
since'the County is reconstructing
the Dungannon-Lucknow road this: '.
