REV. T. E KENNEDY
The many friends in this dist-
rict .of' Rev . T : E, Kennedy were
saddened to learn of his sudden •
death in. Listowel Memorial Hosp-
'ital. on Wednesday, January '26,
lin his 76th year.
Mr, and Mrs,'. Kennedy moved :
• to Listowel last October' when 'he
retired from the. Presbyterian char-
ges in'• Bluevale a'nd Belmore, Mr.
'Kennedy's seven .years in,these
'churches' concluded 47 years in -
the ministry. •
He.was born near Ripley and was
educated in Kincardine. He taught
school for three years, at "Maple
Leaf" school in Huron and S.S.
No..9 Langside, before,he was
ordained atthe age of,28..
Mr. Kennedy is survived by his
wife, the former .Annie Hughes, •
a sister of Allister Hughes of Kin-
loss, a son, James .E. Kennedy of
Ajax, and two granddaughters.
The funeral service - was conduct-
ed at the R. A.Currie and Son fun-,
•eral home, Wingham, on,Friday,
• January 28th. Rev. Norman . Fry

' W ingha m , Rev. Rod MacLeod of
Lucknow and Rev. Neil McCombie
of Ripley were in charge of, the
service.
