Listowel Memorial Hosp- 'ital. on Wednesday, January '26, lin his 76th year. Mr, and Mrs,'. Kennedy moved : • to Listowel last October' when 'he retired from the. Presbyterian char- ges in'• Bluevale a'nd Belmore, Mr. 'Kennedy's seven .years in,these 'churches' concluded 47 years in - the ministry. • He.was born near Ripley and was educated in Kincardine. He taught school for three years, at "Maple Leaf" school in Huron and S.S. No..9 Langside, before,he was ordained atthe age of,28.. Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife, the former .Annie Hughes, • a sister of Allister Hughes of Kin- loss, a son, James .E. Kennedy of Ajax, and two granddaughters.
