.. NEWSPAPER CHANGE. -' The
Exeter Times, which .was started by
the late Mr White, and which since
his death has )'ermined a part of his.
estate, underwent a change last week.
a It has been taken over by a joint stock
company, the the majority of whom are
Liberals. The paper has of late been
' under . the management of :Mr John
i tV bite, and' his brother-in-law, 2.Ir
Wickwire, both of . whom remain. It•
has always Leen a • newsy paper, and
has well represented the southern part
of the country. Improvements are
conterhplated that will make it a bet-

the intention that -it shall be an out-

room for a paper of this stamp, and
the Times will fill the bill.

of Bills Green, brother-in-law of Mr
Wesley Moore and Mrs G M Kitty,
was driving to Hensall'for load of

was pulled over• the dashboard, falling
across the tongue. White in this
position he. was .repeatedly kicked by
the horses in their mad plunging, and
when rescued it was feared that his
skull was fractured, Very -fortunately
this was not the case. When examin-
ed by the doctors who were called to
attend him, it was found that he was
only slrgh.ly"ant about the head, the
worst injury sustained being the dis-
location and breaking of his shoulder
blade, which wilt lay him up for some
time.
